OOTD: A chilly trip to London Town!

Hello everybody, I know it has been quite a few days since my last post…sorry about that! My parter and I had to go on a last minute trip to London and I didn’t take my laptop (silly me!) But fear no more….I am back home and lots of posts will be coming your way! Anyway, below are a few pictures for my outfit of the day (from yesterday) in the erm……lovely hotel room. Where the carpet actually matches my skirt! We stayed at The Gloucester Place Hotel, and despite the pattern overload in the rooms, it was clean and tidy. And as a master deal finder, £74 in a superior room for bed and breakfast in Central London seemed a steal! I am normally used to paying £120-£170 per night, so we were very happy people!

Again, everything that I am wearing is from Topshop (surprise surprise…) and I just love them all. I have a real love for velvet at the moment, so when I spotted this skirt online, it was in my basket faster than light! It can be dressed up or down and it is right on-trend this season. I wore it with my favourite little black ankle boots (they have super cute little tassels on the front) and a embroidered off-white shirt. I love to wear shirts and blouses with everything as I think they look classy and sophisticated. My leather jacket is quite new and it is from the Topshop Boutique range, and when I saw that it was reduced as a seasonal offer from £165 to £125….well again… I had to have it! I feel that they are very versatile and can be worn anytime to achieve a fashionable look.

So, that is my outfit of the day :). Below, I though I would share a few of my snaps from my two day trip to London (sorry for the picture quality, I really do need to buy a good camera!) I actually think that London is my favourite place to go, I love everything about it. And at this time of year, we visited the amazing Southbank Christmas Markets….getting wrapped up (it was actually freeeezing!), mulled wine, German sausage, Crepes, and fairy lights galore! Yay!!

Another one of my favourite skirts at the moment from Topshop. Black velvet with lace detail, and It was that cold that I made a dash to H&M to buy this cute bobble hat.
